Pristine in Pacific Beach * One Block to the Ocean

The place was very nice and updated. The location was perfect and exactly as described. The host was great with communication and will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect location! We walked to restaurants, bars, the beach, and coffee shops. The beds were so comfortable. Loved that there were three full bathrooms too!! Self check in was very easy. Host was communicative and helpful! Check in and out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The only downfall was that there wasn’t much toilet paper provided, and with a bigger group we ended up needing to purchasing some from the store. Also, the patio furniture was really dusty and the ice maker in the fridge is very slow. Overall, very cute place in a wonderful location. I would recommend!

Great location...one block from the beach. Some of the mattresses need replacing....too soft. Safety bars need to be installed in bath and showers.

We had 4 nights in our Airbnb, wouldn’t change it, all in all it was great! Positive: I loved the location, I loved the house it was cute, the dryer sucked and took a couple rounds to dry so that was a little inconvenient but we made it work. I wish the backyard was a little bigger but it was totally fine, we had a whole beach a block away from us. Clean and was easy to get ahold of the renter. Negative: Just the dryer and the limited patio space.

Good Location, Bad Service & Check In, Small and Uncomfortable Beds Positive: Location Negative: The self check-in did not work. We called both Katherine and the company managing the property, and we also sent multiple messages through Booking and WhatsApp, but no one answered. We had to ask the neighbors for help, who contacted someone that eventually reached the owner. We waited more than two hours before being able to enter the house, not ideal after an international flight of more than 20 hours!! The house itself is smaller than it looks in the photos, and the beds—except for the main one—are very uncomfortable. The hot water boiler stopped working one day before check-out, causing water to leak into one of the rooms and even into the neighbor’s house. We spent an entire day without hot water and could not shower. Neither the owner nor the management company responded for several hours, and once again the neighbor had to take charge of arranging the repair. In the end, the company managing the house reached an agreement with the neighbor and accepted to repair the boiler. We were asked either to stay home all day to supervise the technician or to give him the house password. We chose the latter, trusting the technician. The technician then spent the entire day fixing the boiler. We were offered a refund for one night, but after more than a month of sending messages through Booking, we have received NO REPLY and NO REFUND!! The location is good, but the service and attention from both the owner and the management company leave much to be desired. The house is small, the beds are very small and uncomfortable, and it is definitely not suitable for large groups.
